The Feast of St. Cecilia ~ December 13th at 9:00 a.m. CST. Bishop Rosendo Sillero and 4 of his Clergy were Admitted as Professed Members of the Order of Christ our Most Holy Redeemer & Heavenly King – ORDO CHRISTUS REX. Our Master General celebrated the Holy Eucharist. He was assisted by Chief Ecumenical Outreach Officer, Brother Junipero Serra, OCR and Brother Anthony Bruno, OCR during the Service of Reception. Three of the wives of these men were present to witness this Solemn occasion. One of the most moving parts of the Service was when our new Members recited the Apostles Creed in their native Tagalog. “In Christ there is neither East nor West.” The last time this many new members were brought into the Order was in April 2012, when Father Master General traveled to Connecticut to receive eight Candidates. We thank the Almighty for our new Members as our ORDO continues our one hundred and twenty five years of continuous Service to Holy Mother Church. The names of the men with more details of the event will be posted as soon as our time allows. We welcome our newest worthy Brothers in the name of Christ our King! We ask for your Prayers and good thoughts for them as they begin their new journey as Members of the Rexist Order.
Update November 5th, 2025 ~ Bishop Rosendo Sillero has reported on the Typhoon that hit Negros the beginning of the week. Some of our Members are unaccounted for. The flooding has been devastating. There is a genuine need for the Bishop to buy bottled water and canned goods for those affected. The Mission Parish has suffered loss as well. The full extent of the disaster has yet to be revealed. Some of the reporting has been unreliable due to the lack of telephone service being disrupted. The Bishop requests your Prayers and any financial relief you might extend to those in need. Members of the Order of Christ the King have already responded to the call for financial help. It is not the Policy of the Autonomous Anglican Orthodox Christian Archdiocese to solicit funds from the general public. We are firm believers in taking care of our own from within. This is a rare exception which has not been iniated by our Metroploitan. However, this is an Emergency Life and Death situation. This request comes diectly from the Presiding Bishop of the Philippines in the form of Natural Disaster Relief for his Country. Bishop Sillero can be reached at Email: bishoprosendoomfs@gmail.com
