On Feast Days of the Holy Mother Mary, St. Mary Magdalene and St. Procula it is our custom to Celebrate the Saint of the day and always commemorate the other two. … MARCH IN THE YEAR OF THE LORD 2026 … Wednesdays and Fridays are Fast Days during the Lenten Season. This practice is taken from the Didache also known as “The Teaching of the Twelve Apostles.” It was written between the years 70 and 120 a.d. It was a highly revered Document and Read in the Church during Public Worship in the early Centuries. There is an exception to this Custom during this season of Penitence and Self Denial. The Church gives a Dispensation if a Feast Day of Major Import falls on a Wednesday or Friday.
